Outreach + Events Coordination Team

Hi, my name is Musharrof Hossain and I am a rising senior at Brooklyn Technical High School.

I am an individual who has a deep appreciation for history, as it provides me with a deep understanding of myself and the world around me.

Exploring the past allows me to gain insights into different cultures, societies, and events, enhancing my perspective toward others. I

n addition to my passion for history, I am drawn to the field of environmental science. I recognize the pressing environmental issues that my generation and future generations will face, and I want to help by any means to make a positive impact on this major crisis.

Furthermore, journalism holds a special place in my heart. I believe in the power of information and the ability of journalism to educate and empower individuals to create meaningful change. By raising awareness and giving a voice to the voiceless, I aim to inspire action and create change.  I am also really into sports, especially basketball.  

I am a big fan of the Denver Nuggets (A Basketball Organization).  I love to watch Jokic’s amazing passes and how he is able to masterfully control a basketball game. 

I am a college student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in education (chemistry) in Malawi. 

With a particular focus on creating sustainable cities and communities, I strive to contribute to the development of a more environmentally conscious and inclusive society

By participating in community-driven projects and collaborating with local organizations, I seek to empower individuals and communities with knowledge and tools to mitigate climate change and foster sustainable practices. In addition to my commitment to environmental sustainability, I strongly advocate for quality education as a fundamental right for all individuals.

I  believe that education has the power to transform lives and societies, and I am dedicated to ensuring that every person, regardless of their background or circumstances, has access to a dignified and equitable education
 

Hi! I’m Nicole and I’m from NY. You can find me reading, spending time with friends, trying new foods, listening to music or taking in nature during my free time.

I do Varsity Track and Field as well as Cross Country.

I aspire to become a psychiatrist and am passionate about global health, especially mental health.

Hey, I’m Anaya!

I was born in Trinidad and Tobago and raised in NYC.

I take great pride in my Caribbean heritage, culture, and family.

Some of my current interests include art, specifically visual, digital, and line art. And self-expression through clothing and style. Hobbies that I partake in are acoustic guitar, photography, and music discovery.

My biggest current goal is to get into a good college that is in or out of state. And though I am not completely sure about my path in the farther future, I aspire to major and pursue a career in the science field. As for the present and upcoming years, I want to be part of as many things as I can and be part of an impactful change, like wonderful homemakers, especially for people who look like me.

Hi, my name is Wynn Ng and I am a rising senior in Brooklyn Technical High School’s Advanced Health Professions major. My pronouns are they/them/theirs. Some of my hobbies are learning to play the guitar, arts and crafts, and scrapbooking. As a member of the Social Media and Outreach + Events Coordination departments, I would like to increase awareness of low-income housing and ways we can improve it.

Hello, I'm Lina Xu, and my pronouns are she/her. I'm a Junior in Midwood High School. I'm currently on the Pre-Engineering track, although I aspire to major in Business Management and Finance in college. In the past, I've done Creative Writing and Journalism, as well as Theatre Production more recently. A fun fact about me is that my favorite season and birthday is in winter. 

Hi! My name is Debanjan Kundu and I’m a rising Senior at Brooklyn Technical High School in the Civil Engineering Major. While most of my interests lie with Civil and Architectural Engineering, I also have interests in Software Engineering and Chemical Engineering, and I hope to study most of these, in college. Although I have many interests I would happily major in any of them and would like to make a change and help communities around me. Some fun facts about me are that I enjoy to play cricket and am on the cricket team for Brooklyn Technical High School, I got 3rd place at Regionals for Science Olympiad for CodeBusters, and I enjoy helping my friends, specifically Maryam and this website.
