I’m currently a rising senior in Brooklyn, New York.

In my free time, you can find me wandering the streets of New York, trying new foods!

I also love to read and write occasionally. You can also find me playing volleyball with my friends. Recently, my friends have been trying to teach me handball, and I’m trying to get back into roller skating.

As college approaches, I plan to major in computer science or engineering, which leads to this wonderful opportunity I’ve been given. 

Hello, My name is Alice Chen!

 I am going to be a Junior at Brooklyn Technical High School. Some of my hobbies include ballet, dance, Chinese pop, and drawing. One of my favorite food is noodles and I really like the color pink. I hate apples, pears, and watermelons.

I am currently in the architecture major at BTHS and I would like to see what the architecture career is like before choosing my major in college.

One of the biggest messages that I tell myself whenever I feel sad or stressed is that the rainbow is always after a huge rainstorm so no matter how big your obstacle is, there will always be a way to overcome it! I hope to become someone that I am proud of with the capability of achieving my own goals.

Hello, I'm Bernardo, a passionate and hardworking individual. I enjoy interacting with others and discussing topics that we both may enjoy. During my downtime, you can find me enjoying the latest Netflix series or watching my favorite NBA team.

Isa is a high school senior currently studying visual arts in her hometown of San Antonio, Texas.

She is extremely passionate about anthropology, global affairs, and environmentalism.

My name is Zeedan Mir and I am an aspiring Civil Engineer. As a teenager from Queens, I enjoy playing sports, lifting weights, and traveling with my friends to different places.

As a student at Brooklyn Technical High School, I have a passion for STEM and have been feeding that passion ever since I was a child.

I’m cooperative, understanding, and hardworking. Mathematics and Engineering are my strongest suits that help me navigate what I want to pursue in the Engineering Field, especially in construction and design.

Some of my hobbies are learning to play the guitar, arts and crafts, and scrapbooking.

I'm currently on the Pre-Engineering track, although I aspire to major in Business Management and Finance in college.

In the past, I've done Creative Writing and Journalism, as well as Theatre Production more recently.

A fun fact about me is that my favorite season and birthday is in winter. 

My name is Iman Gondal, and I'm from Brooklyn, New York. 

I am the oldest of three siblings and will be graduating in 2024. I plan on majoring in computer science.

In my free time, I love reading, doing arts and crafts, baking, hanging out with my family and friends, and going on walks!

Hello, my name is Djoulissa I’m a rising senior at Midwood high school in the Medical Science program.

Some of my hobbies included dancing, working out, journaling, and taking pictures.

Currently, I aspire to be a physician assistant in the future and I’ve joined this program so I can get experience in helping people with their situations.

There are many in our cities struggling because of their home conditions and if you can’t be comfortable and at peace in your home that’s an issue because it’ll make you stressed out. I hope this program helps improve many people’s home conditions and improve them for the better so that they can finally find comfort in their homes.

As a photographer of this program, I hope to bring light to the uncovered situations of citizens in our community and spread awareness in hopes of gaining funds to help them out.

I also hope to gain companionship in this program with a sense of community that just wants to help make our city a better place.

Hi! My name is Nataliya and I am a rising senior in Midwood High School's Medical program.

I have many hobbies such as skiing, ice skating, wakeboarding, and swimming, and I have recently taken a large interest in tennis.

If I was to describe myself as a person, I would say that I am friendly, adventurous, and ambitious.

I have not yet decided what career I want to pursue in the future, but I do know that I want to make a positive impact on the world and on the people around me. I

Hii! My name is Maham and I am a rising junior at Midwood High School's Humanities program.

I go by the pronouns she/her and some of my hobbies include reading, crafting jewelry, writing poetry, volunteering, and hanging out with my friends.

I spent lots of time on social media and believe that is a great method of spreading the word about our organization and gaining more donors, as well as volunteers to help out our community meaningfully.

One of the many reasons I took a liking to this program is it incorporates all of the things I love to do in a fun yet helpful way for the community and I aspire to do the same in my future career path.

Hi! My name is Debanjan Kundu and I’m a rising Senior at Brooklyn Technical High School in the Civil Engineering Major.

While most of my interests lie in Civil and Architectural Engineering, I also have interests in Software Engineering and Chemical Engineering, and I hope to study most of these, in college.

Although I have many interests, I would happily major in any of them and would like to make a change and help the communities around me.

Some fun facts about me are that I enjoy playing cricket and am on the cricket team for Brooklyn Technical High School, I got 3rd place at Regionals for Science Olympiad for CodeBusters, and I enjoy helping my friends, specifically Maryam and this website.
